Ingredients
  • ⅔ C. sugar
  • ¼ C. margarine
  • 1 Egg
  • ½ C. milk
  • 1½ C. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • ½ tsp. salt
Instructions
  1. Mix well and spread half of the dough in a 9 inch pie tin.
  2. Combine ½ C. brown sugar, 2 tbsp. sugar, 2 tbsp. melted butter, 2 tsp. cinnamon and ½ tsp. nutmeg to make a streusel.
  3. Cover the dough i the pan with apple slices and the streusel mixture.
  4. Top with remaining dough.
  5. Bake at 375 for 25-35 minutes.

 

Berry Pink Lemonade

Ingredients
  • ¾ C. sugar
  • 1 C. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 C. raspberries
  • Ice Cubes
  • Lemon Slices
Instructions
  1. Mix the water juice and sugar together.
  2. Puree the raspberries in a blender and add strain to avoid the seeds.
  3. Pour the puree into the lemonade, cover and allow to chill before serving over ice.
  4. Top with sliced lemons.

  • 2 cans frozen orange juice
  • 4 C. pineapple juice
  • 5 mashed bananas
  • 4 C. sugar
  • 6 C. water
Instructions
  1. Boil the water and sugar for 5 minutes and add remaining ingredients.
  2. Serve with 7-up or sprite.
  3. Makes 9 pints.

  • 1 C. Mayonnaise
  • 1 pkg. Frozen chopped spinach, drained well
  • 1 C. cheddar cheese, grated
  • ½ C. Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
Instructions
  1. Mix all in a pie pan and bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
  2. Can top with chopped tomatoes and onions if desired.

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 C. buttermilk
  • 1 C. jam (any flavor)

  1. Cream the sugars and shortening together.
  2. Add the eggs one at a time.
  3. Add jam and remaining ingredients.
  4. Pour in a greased and floured pan and bake at 350 for 40 minutes.

Ingredients
  • 1 pkg. seedless dark raisins
  • 4 C. water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 C. sugar
  • 1 C. brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp. shortening
  • 2 C. flour
  • 1 tsp. allspice
  • 1 tsp. cloves
  • 4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder, heaping
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • ½ tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 C. chopped Walnuts
Instructions
  1. In a large sauce pan, bring the water to a boil and add the raisins.
  2. Boil for 20 minutes and remove from heat.
  3. Add Salt, sugar, brown sugar and shortening and allow to cool.
  4. When cool, add remaining ingredients and mix well.
  5. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.

  • 2 C. sugar
  • 2 tsp. baking soda

  1. Combine all of the dry ingredients first and add the wet ingredients.
  2. Bake in a square pan at 350 for 45 minutes
  3. Topping:

  5. C. brown sugar
  6. C. water
  7. tbsp. butter
  8. tsp. vanilla
  9. Combine all topping ingredients in a sauce pan and bring to a boil.
  10. Boil for two minutes.
  11. Pour cake while the cake is still warm.

  • 1 C. packed brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp. ground ginger

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsp. yeast
  • 3 C. warm water
  • 2 tbsp. powdered milk
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 8-9 C. flour
Instructions
  1. Dissolve the yeast in the warm water, add salt milk and honey.
  2. Mix in the flour and divide into balls.
  3. Roll each ball into a log and put on a greased cookie sheet.
  4. Brush logs with butter, salt and Parmesan cheese.
  5. Cover and allow to rise in a warm oven for 15 minutes.
  6. Bake at 400 for 10 minutes.

Ingredients
  • 3 cans buttermilk biscuits
  • 1 C. sugar
  • ½ tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 cube butter, Melted
  • ¼ C. brown sugar
  • ¼ C. milk
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Mix cinnamon and sugar in a bowl.
  3. Dip biscuits in butter and roll in sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Lay biscuits sideways in a Bundt pan.
  5. Continue until all 30 biscuits are in the pan.
  6. Put butter, milk, cinnamon sugar mixture and brown sugar in a microwave safe bowl.
  7. Microwave until butter is melted.
  8. Pour melted mixture over the top of the biscuits.
  9. Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes or until done.
  10. You can also add nuts or raisins to the mixture.
