Ingredients
  • 4 boneless pork chops (about ¾-inch thick)
  • ¾ cup Italian salad dressing
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients in a Ziploc bag. Seal bag and place in refrigerator for at least 20 minutes.
  2. Remove chops from bag, discarding marinade, and grill over a medium hot fire, turning once, until just done, about 8 to 11 minutes total cooking time.

Ingredients
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 can cheddar cheese soup
  • ½ c. light cream
  • 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ c. diced cooked ham
  • ½ c. cooked broccoli
  • 1 9" unbaked pie crust
Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, beat eggs until fluffy.
  2. Add soup and cream; mix well.
  3. Sprinkle cheese, meat, and broccoli over unbaked pie crust.
  4. Follow with soup mixture.
  5. Bake for 50 minutes at 350°F

Ingredients
  • ½ stick butter
  • 2 lbs. frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
  • ¼ c. mayonnaise
  • 1 med. onion, chopped
  • 10 oz. cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
Instructions
  1. Melt butter and saute onion.
  2. Add hash browns, cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise and soup.
  3. Bake in 8 x 13 inch casserole dish for 1½ hours at 350 degrees.

Ingredients
  • 8 boneless chicken breasts, washed and pounded to ¼ inch thickness
  • 8 tbsp. butter
  • 4 green onion, chopped well
  • 2 tsp. garlic salt or powder
  • Seasoned bread crumbs
  • Oil for frying
  • 2 eggs, beaten well
  • 12 oz. pkg. egg noodles
Instructions
  1. Combine butter, green onion and garlic salt; blend well. Divide into 8 balls and put into refrigerator, covered with Saran Wrap. Meanwhile, wash chicken breasts, remove skin, pat dry, and pound with a wooden mallet between two sheets of wax paper to ¼ inch thickness.
  2. When chicken is pounded, place a "butter ball" in the center of each and roll up lengthwise, secure loose ends and sides with toothpicks.
  3. Coat each roll with the eggs, and roll in bread crumbs until well coated. Heat oil over medium high heat and brown chicken rolls on all sides, transfer to shallow baking dish. Heat oven to 350 degrees and bake for 45 minutes.
  4. While chicken is in the oven, cook noodles as per package directions. When ready, serve kiev over cooked noodles, spoon butter sauce over noodles.

  • boneless skinless chicken breasts

  • Swiss cheese
  • shake 'n bake
Instructions
  1. Heat the oven to 400F°.
  2. Coat the breasts with the Shake 'n Bake, and put them in the oven for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool enough to handle.
  3. Slice them in half, and add a slice or two of thin ham and a slice of Swiss cheese. Put the other half back on top. Return them to the oven for another 5 minutes or so.

Ingredients
  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • ½ c. bread crumbs
  • ¼ c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp. salt and dash of pepper
  • 1 lb. veal cutlets, ¼ inch thick
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • ½ tsp. oregano
  • ½ tsp. sugar
  • ½ tsp. onion salt
  • 4 oz. sliced Mozzarella cheese
Instructions
  1. Melt 3 tablespoons butter in 10 x 6 x 1½ inch baking dish. Combine bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. Dip veal cutlets in egg, then in crumb mixture. Place in baking dish.
  2. Bake 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Turn meat. Bake 20 minutes more or until meat is tender.
  3. Meanwhile, combine tomato sauce, oregano, sugar and dash of onion salt. Heat to boiling, stirring frequently. Pour tomato sauce over meat. Top with Mozzarella cheese. Return casserole to oven to melt cheese.

  • 1 (32-ounce) package frozen potato rounds
  • 16 oz. sour cream
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (6 oz.) can French-fried onions
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Grease a 9x13 inch-baking dish. Arrange tater tots in the prepared baking dish. In a mixing bowl, combine sour cream, cheese, and mushroom soup.
  3. Pour this mixture over the tater tots. Sprinkle onions over the top of the casserole. Bake at 350 for 45 to 60 minutes

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. crab meat
  • 3 tbsp. all purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp. baking powder
  • 4 shakes Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp. parsley
  • 1 tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 2 tbsp. mayonnaise
  • ¾ c. vegetable oil
Instructions
  1. Place crab meat in a bowl and add the flour, baking powder, Worcestershire, egg, parsley, mustard and mayonnaise; blending gently.
  2. Pour about 1 inch of oil into a skillet. Heat over medium-high heat. When a drop of water splatters when in contact with the oil, it is hot enough to fry crab cakes.
  3. Form crab cakes into balls and flatten into a patty. Fry until golden brown, about 3 minutes. Turn and fry on other side until brown. Remove crab cakes and drain on paper towels. Repeat until all the crab meat is used.

  • 2 tbsp. skim milk
  • 1 tbsp. low sodium soy sauce
  • ¼ tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 egg white, lightly beaten
  • 4 (4 oz.) skinned flounder fillets
  • ⅓ c. fine dry bread crumbs
  • ¼ c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp. vegetable oil, divided
  • Lemon wedges
Instructions
  1. Combine first 4 ingredients in a large shallow dish; stir well. Add fish, turning to coat. Marinate in refrigerator 15 minutes, turning fish once. Remove fish from marinade.
  2. Combine the bread crumbs and cheese in a large zip top plastic bag. Add fish fillets shake to coat.
  3. Heat ½ teaspoon oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat until hot. Add 2 pieces fish, and cook 2½ minutes on each side or until fish flakes easily with a fork.

Ingredients
  • 10¾ ounces cream of mushroom soup, condensed
  • 1½ lbs. lean ground beef
  • ½ c. dry bread crumbs
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ⅛ tsp. pepper
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • ⅓ c. water
Instructions
  1. Heat oven to 350 F. In medium bowl, combine ¼ of the soup with remaining ingredients except water; mix well. Shape into 6 patties; arrange in single layer in 13 x 9-inch or 12 x8-inch baking dish.
  2. Bake uncovered at 350 F. for 30 minutes. Skim off fat.
  3. In small bowl, combine remaining soup and water; spoon over patties. Return to oven and bake for 10 minutes.

Ingredients
  • 1½ lbs. ground beef
  • ¾ c. uncooked oatmeal
  • 1 c. milk
  • 3 tbsp. onions
  • 1½ tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. pepper
  • 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 3 tbsp. vinegar
  • ½ c. water
  • 1 c. ketchup
  • 6 tbsp. chopped onions
  • Dash bottled smoke
Instructions
  1. Combine ground beef, oatmeal, milk, chopped onions, salt and pepper.
  2. Shape into hamburger patties.
  3. Combine remaining ingredients and simmer 20 minutes.
  4. Brown hamburgers.
  5. Place in casserole dish.
  6. Pour sauce over hamburgers.
  7. Cover and bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.

  • 2 c. cooked brown rice
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 2 tbsp. minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp. oil
  • 1 tsp. dried basil
Instructions
  1. Sauté onions and garlic in the 2 tablespoons oil.
  2. Add basil and mix well.
  3. Add to rice; shape into patties and brown in 1 teaspoon oil. Serve in pita bread or on buns.

Ingredients
  • 1½ lbs. hamburger
  • 1 med. onion, chopped
  • 1 med. green pepper, chopped
  • 1 can creamed corn
  • 1 box cornbread mix
  • 2 cans tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 lg. can kidney beans
Instructions
  1. Brown hamburger with onion and green pepper in a skillet until browned and all pink color is gone.
  2. Drain off grease and return to burner.
  3. Add the tomato paste, chili powder, kidney beans and creamed corn.
  4. Cook until heated through.
  5. Drop cornbread (prepared according to directions) by teaspoons across the top.
  6. Bake in a 350 degree oven for around 30 minutes or until cornbread is done.

 

Stuffed Bell Peppers

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 medium sweet onion, diced
  • 2½ c. cooked white rice
  • 2 medium/large green bell peppers
  • 2-15 oz. cans tomato sauce
  • 8 tbsp. honey
Instructions
  1. Prepare rice cover and set aside.
  2. Add onion and ground beef to large frying pan and sauté until beef is browned. Drain fat, add 2½ cups of rice and mix.
  3. Cut green bell peppers in half, remove caps and seeds; rinse. Pour 1 15 oz. can of tomato sauce into measuring cup and add 4 heaping tbsp. of honey and blend. Pour tomato sauce mixture over beef and rice; mix.
  4. Add second 15 oz. can of tomato sauce to measuring cup and add 4 heaping tablespoons honey; blend.
  5. Add beef and rice mixture to green bell pepper halves. Arrange in glass casserole dish.
  6. Pour tomato sauce mixture over and around stuffed bell peppers.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour.

  • ¼ c. butter
  • ¼ c. flour
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. pepper
  • 1 c. chicken broth
  • 1 c. heavy cream
  • ½-1 c. sherry or white wine
  • 7 oz. fettuccine noodles
  • 2 c. cubed chicken
  • 3 oz. mushrooms
  • ½ c. grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Melt butter over low heat; blend in flour and seasonings.
  3. Cook over low heat until smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat; stir in broth and cream. Heat until boiling, stirring constantly.
  4. Boil and stir for 1 minute. Stir in wine, boiled noodles, chicken and mushrooms.
  5. Pour into ungreased 2 quart casserole.
  6. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
