Place crab meat in a bowl and add the flour, baking powder, Worcestershire, egg, parsley, mustard and mayonnaise; blending gently.
Pour about 1 inch of oil into a skillet. Heat over medium-high heat. When a drop of water splatters when in contact with the oil, it is hot enough to fry crab cakes.
Form crab cakes into balls and flatten into a patty. Fry until golden brown, about 3 minutes. Turn and fry on other side until brown. Remove crab cakes and drain on paper towels. Repeat until all the crab meat is used.
