Chocolate Pretzel Rings

Ingredients
  • 1 bag small pretzel rings
  • 1 bag Rolo or Reece's Peanut Butter Cups
  • M & M's to garnish, or a nut(just whatever)
  • paper cupcake liners
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 250.
  2. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Place pretzels on a the cookie sheet 1½ inches apart.
  4. Place pan in oven and heat for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven and place a piece of candy in the center of each pretzel.
  6. Return to oven and bake 3-4 minutes, or until candy is soft, not melted.
  7. Remove from oven and garnish with whatever the occasion maybe.
  8. Cool.
  9. These can also be placed in a cupcake liner.

Ingredients
  • 1 c shortening
  • 1 c white sugar
  • 1 c brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c milk
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 2 t baking powder
  • 1 t baking soda
  • ½ t salt
  • 4½ cups flour
  • 1 sm pkg chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add ingredients in the order listed.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Drop by spoonful onto a cookie sheet.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes.

 

Cherry Chocolate Cake

Ingredients
  • 1 18 oz package chocolate cake mix(DO NOT follow package instructions)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 t almond extract
  • 1 21 oz can cherry pie filling
  • 1 c granulated sugar
  • 5 T butter
  • ½ c milk
  • 1 6 oz package chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Heat oven to 350. Combine cake mix, eggs and cherry fruit filling, blend well.
  2. Pour into greased and floured 9 × 13 pan or Bundt pan.
  3. Bake 25 to 40 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly touched.
  4. Frosting: After cake cools, combine sugar, butter and milk in small pan, bring to boil, stirring constantly.
  5. Cook 1 minute, remove from heat.
  6. Stir in chocolate pieces until melted and smooth.
  7. Spread or drizzle on cake.

 

Carmel Chocolate Cake

Ingredients
  • 1 chocolate cake mix (baked)
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • (you can substitute ½ bottle of butterscotch in place of the sweetened condensed milk)
  • ½ bottle caramel syrup
  • 1 8 oz container Cool Whip
Instructions
  1. Prepare your favorite chocolate cake mix and bake as directed.
  2. Remove from the oven and cool.
  3. Poke holes in the cake with a wooden spoon handle.
  4. Pour the sweetened condensed milk and syrup over the cake soaking it.
  5. Spread the Cool Whip on top. Chill for about 1 hour. If you want, you can add sprinkles or shave chocolate off from your favorite candy bar for decoration.

  • 1 c sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 5 T cocoa
  • 1 t baking powder
  • ¼ t salt
  • ⅓ c milk
  • ½ t vanilla
  • 1 c flour
  • ½ c chopped walnuts
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 325.
  2. Mix all ingredients together in the order listed.
  3. Pour in a 8×8 baking pan and bake for 25 minutes or until done.

  • 4 tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tbsp. coco powder
  • 2 tbsp. oil
  • 2 tbsp. milk
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a microwave safe mug.
  2. Microwave on high for 2 minutes.

Ingredients
  • 3 squares semi-sweet chocolate
  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 (10 oz.) bag miniature marshmallows
  • 1 pkg. coconut flakes
Instructions
  1. Melt together chocolate and butter.
  2. Stir in powdered sugar.
  3. Beat egg and add.
  4. Stir well.
  5. Mix in marshmallows.
  6. Butter clean hands.
  7. Roll mixture into two equal sized logs on wax paper.
  8. Roll in flaked coconut until well coated.
  9. Seal rolls in wax paper and refrigerate overnight.
  10. The next day, slice rolls into ½ inch slices as needed.

Ingredients
  • ⅓ C. butter
  • 2 C. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 C. milk
  • 2-1/3 C. flour
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • 2 squares chocolate melted
  • ¾ C. walnuts, chopped
  • ½ tsp. vanilla
Instructions
  1. Cream butter and sugar together.
  2. Beat egg yolks (retain the whites) until thick and fluffy and add to butter and sugar mixture.
  3. Add melted chocolate.
  4. Mix and sift flour, baking powder and salt and add to first mixture alternately with milk.
  5. Add nuts and vanilla and fold in the whites of eggs that have been beaten stiff.
  6. Turn into a well-greased tube pan and bake forty-five minutes in
  7. a moderate oven.
  8. Cool before frosting.

Ingredients
  • 2 chocolate bars
  • 2 cans evaporated milk
  • ½ gal. milk
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • Whole cinnamon stick
  • Whole cloves
  • Sugar
Instructions
  1. Boil 4 cups of water with the cinnamon and cloves for 10-15 minutes to flavor the water, and then add the chocolate bars.
  2. Let the chocolate melt and then add the sugar to the taste, and then add the milk.
  3. Let them boil and add the evaporated milk and vanilla.

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 3 tbsp. flour
  • ¾ c. milk
  • ½ c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 4 egg yolks, beaten
  • 4 egg whites
  • ½ tsp. vanilla
  • ¼ c. sugar
Instructions
  1. Butter the sides of a 2-quart souffle dish. Sprinkle sides with a little sugar and set aside.
  2. In a small saucepan, melt butter.
  3. Stir in flour and milk.
  4. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
  5. Add chocolate, stir until the chocolate is melted and remove from heat. Gradually stir chocolate mixture into beaten egg yolks, set aside. Do this slowly to prevent the eggs from beginning to cook.
  6. Beat egg whites and vanilla until stiff and gradually add in the remaining sugar.
  7. Gently fold the egg mixture into the chocolate mixture.
  8. Transfer to prepared dish.
  9. Bake in a 350 degree oven 35-40 minutes or until a knife inserted near center comes out clean.
  10. Serve at once with whipped cream.

 

Marshmallow Fudge Logs

Ingredients
  • 6 oz. chocolate chips
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 egg
  • 1 C. powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 C. nuts
  • 1 pkg. colored marshmallows
Instructions
  1. Melt together the margarine and chocolate chips.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the egg, powdered sugar and vanilla and add to the chocolate.
  3. Add nuts and colored marshmallows last.
  4. Pour out into two batches on waxed paper.
  5. Shape into 2 logs and store in fridge.

 

Mississippi Mud Pie

Ingredients
  • 1 C. flour
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • ½ C. nuts
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 12 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 16 oz. cool whip
  • 1 C. powdered sugar
  • 1 lrg. pkg. instant chocolate pudding
  • 2½ C. milk
  • 1 chocolate bar, grated
Instructions
  1. Blend together the flour, margarine, nuts and sugar.
  2. Press into the bottom of a 9/13 pan and bake at 300 for 25-30 minutes.
  3. While baking, mix together the cream cheese, 8oz. of cool whip and the powdered sugar.
  4. Spread mixture on the crust and put in the fridge for 2 hours.
  5. Mix pudding mix and milk together and spread over the cheese layer.
  6. Chill for an additional hour.
  7. Garnish with grated chocolate bar.

 

Quick toffee

Ingredients
  • 1 C. sugar
  • 3 tbsp. water
  • 1 tbsp. Karo syrup
  • 1½ C. butter
  • ¾ C. nuts
  • ½ C. chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Place sugar, water, syrup and butter in a pan.
  2. Cook to hard crack stage using a candy thermometer.
  3. In the bottom of an 8x8 pan, place nuts and chocolate chips.
  4. Pour the candy mixture over the top of the nut mixture.
  5. Let candy harden and turn out of pan.

  • 3 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 tbsp. buttermilk
  • 2¼ C. powdered sugar
  • ½ C. chopped walnuts
  • ½ tsp. vanilla
Instructions
  1. In a saucepan, mix the butter, cocoa powder and buttermilk.
  2. Cook until boiling and remove from heat.
  3. Beat in remaining ingredients.
