Ingredients
  • 1 12 oz pkg butterscotch chips
  • 1 c peanut butter(you can use chunky)
  • 1 c miniature marshmallows
  • 4 c chow mein noodles
Instructions
  1. Melt chips in double boiler or microwave 1 minute at a time to prevent scorching.
  2. Mix in peanut butter, then remove from heat source.
  3. Mix in marshmallows until melted then add noodles.
  4. Spoon onto wax paper to harden. Makes about 25.

 

Guacamole

Ingredients
  • 3 avocados
  • 1 red onion, chopped (about ¼ c)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ bunch cilantro leaves, chopped
  • 1 jalapeno, finely chopped (or to taste)
  • 1 large ripe garden tomato (or 2 smaller tomatoes), diced
  • juice of 1 lime
  • 4-5 shakes green Tabasco sauce
  • Kosher salt, to taste
  • Fresh cracked pepper, to taste
Instructions
  1. Pit avocados and mash in a bowl.
  2. If you like your guacamole kind of chunky (that’s how we like it), coarsely chop with the side of a fork instead of using the fork to mash it straight down.
  3. Carefully stir in remaining ingredients until well mixed.

Ingredients
  • 7 oz marshmallow creme
  • 1½ cups white sugar
  • ⅔ c evaporated milk
  • ¼ c butter
  • ¼ t salt
  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 1 c semisweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup nuts(chopped)
  • 1 t vanilla extract
Instructions
  1. Line an 8×8 inch pan with aluminum foil. Set aside.
  2. In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine marshmallow cream, sugar, evaporated milk, butter and salt.
  3. Bring to a full boil, and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Remove from heat and pour in semisweet chocolate chips and milk chocolate chips. Stir until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth.
  5. Stir in nuts and vanilla.
  6. Pour into prepared pan.
  7. Chill in refrigerator for 2 hours, or until firm. T
  8. o add color, sprinkle with your favorite colored sugar.

 

Fruit Slush Mix

Ingredients
  • 1 12 oz can frozen orange juice
  • 11 12 oz can frozen lemonade
  • 1 46oz can unsweetened pineapple juice
  • 4 c sugar
  • 6 c water
  • 5-7 ripe bananas(blended)
Instructions
  1. Combine frozen juices, sugar, and water in a medium size water or juice container.
  2. Stir until dissolved.
  3. Then add pineapple juice, stir well.
  4. Place in the freezer removing every hour until it becomes slushy, then add the blended bananas and mix well. Freeze.
  5. Serve Sprite, or 7-Up over a scoop of slush in your favorite glass. Enjoy.

Ingredients
  • 1 pkg refrigerated sugar cookie mix, sliced.
  • 1 8 oz pkg cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • If the mixture is too thick, take the juice from a can of pineapple to thin.
  • 4 cups assorted cut-up fruit(kiwi, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, sliced peaches, drained can of mandarin oranges, or canned pineapple)or any of your favorites.
  • 1 pkg Danish Dessert; any flavor (prepared and cool, don't allow to set)
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Line a 12-inch pizza pan with foil; spray with cooking spray.
  3. Arrange cookie dough slices in single layer on prepared pan; press together to form crust.
  4. Bake 11-15 minutes until done, then cool completely. Invert onto a 12” serving platter and carefully remove foil. Turn crust over.
  5. Beat cream cheese, sugar and fruit juice with mixer until well blended. Spread over crust.
  6. Top with your favorite fruits, and take your Danish Dessert and pour over the pizza like a glaze. Refrigerate 2 hours.

  • 1 jar creamed marshmallow
  • 1 small container of strawberry cream cheese
Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, empty the strawberry cream cheese and beat with a mixer.
  2. Then add the jar of marshmallow.
  3. Let chill 1 hour before serving.
  4. Serve with your favorite fruit.

Ingredients
  • 1 Ib raw shrimp shelled
  • 1 Ib pork finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ c green onions finely chopped
  • ¼ c carrots finely chopped
  • ¼ c celery finely chopped
  • ¼ c bean sprouts finely chopped
  • ¼ c french style green beans finely chopped
  • 2 c cabbage finely chopped
  • 1 pkg egg roll wrappers
  • Accent salt to taste
  • soy sauce to taste
  • sesame seeds
  • peanut oil
Instructions
  1. In a large fry pan, saute garlic and onion.
  2. Add pork and cook until brown, then add shrimp.
  3. Add all vegetables except cabbage and saute for 10 minutes.
  4. Add cabbage, cover and cook until done but not over cooked.
  5. Let mixture cool and then take a spoonful and place on wrapper.
  6. Fold wrapper over the mixture then fold in ends and roll up.
  7. In a large fry pan heat oil and begin to fry until light golden brown.
  8. Place on paper towels to drain.
  9. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  10. Serve with sweet and sour sauce.

  • 1 pkg cream cheese softened
  • ½ c salad dressing, ranch or blue cheese
  • ½ c Frank's Red hot Buffalo Wing Sauce
  • ½ c shredded mozzarella, cheddar, or crumbled blue cheese
  • 19½ oz chicken breast(Swanson premium chunk, water drained)
  • vegetables, assorted fresh, or your favorite crackers

  1. Combine the first 5 ingredients together.
  2. Mix well.
  3. If you want to serve it more like a dip, use more dressing and wing sauce.

  • 1 pint half and half
  • 1 cube butter
  • 1½ + c Parmesan cheese
  • 1-2 cloves minced garlic
  • ½-1 t garlic salt(to taste)
  • 2 small cans sliced mushrooms(drained)
  • 1 small pkg of fettuccine noodles
Instructions
  1. In a large pot boil noodles until cooked.
  2. Place half and half, butter and garlic into a sauce pan.
  3. Bring to a boil and add Parmesan cheese.
  4. Add cheese slowly until desired thickness.
  5. Once the desired thickness is achieved, add mushrooms.
  6. Serve over cooked noodles.
  7. You can saute shrimp or chicken breast and serve with this.

Ingredients
  • ¼ c vegetable oil
  • ½ c flour
  • ¼ c chili powder(California style)
  • 1 8 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1½ cups water
  • 1½ t ground cumin
  • 1½ t oregano
  • 1½ t garlic salt
  • ¼ t onion salt
  • salt(taste)
Instructions
  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Stir in flour and chili powder, reduce heat to medium, and cook until lightly brown, stirring constantly to prevent burning flour.
  3. Gradually stir in tomato sauce, water, cumin, oregano, garlic powder, and onion salt into the flour and chili powder until smooth, and continue cooking over medium heat approximately 10 minutes, or until thickened slightly.
  4. Season to taste with salt.

  • 6 hard boiled eggs
  • 1 lg dill pickle
  • 1 celery stalk
  • 2 green onions
  • ¼ c mayo
  • ¼ c miracle whip
  • mustard to your liking
  • ½ cup of your favorite meat minced; ham, chicken, or shrimp
  • salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. In a medium size bowl, chop the hard boiled eggs.
  2. Mince the pickle, celery, and onions and add to the eggs.
  3. Take the mayo, miracle whip and mustard, and mix together in a separate bowl. Then combine your meat and mayo mixture.
  4. Salt and pepper to taste.

Ingredients
  • 3 c flour
  • 1¼ c shortening
  • Mix well with a pastry cutter until the mixture forms into pea size balls, then slowly add egg mixture until you achieve the desired consistency.
  • Egg mixture
  • 1 egg(well beaten)
  • 1 T vinegar(white)
  • 1 T salt
  • 5 T ice cold water

  1. Shape into 2 equal balls of dough and roll out to desired thickness, or press into your pie dish.
  2. Makes 2 crusts.

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 2 T water
  • ½ c breadcrumbs
  • ¼ c minced onion
  • ½ t salt
  • ⅛ t pepper
Instructions
  1. In a medium size bowl, combine all ingredients.
  2. Take a small walnut size of meat mixture and form your meatball.
  3. In a medium size fry pan, cook your meatballs.
  4. Serve with your desired dish.

Ingredients
  • 1 5 oz jar Bacon cheese spread
  • 1 5 oz jar Old English cheese spread
  • 1 5 oz jar Rocha Blue cheese spread
  • 1 pkg 3 oz cream cheese softened
  • ½ c grated cheddar cheese
  • ½ c chopped walnuts
Instructions
  1. Combine all cheese and mix well.
  2. When mixed well, form a ball.
  3. Roll the ball in the chopped nuts.
  4. Serve with your favorite crackers.
