Crab Rangoon

Ingredients
  • 1 can (6½ oz.) crab meat, drained and flaked
  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ tsp. garlic powder
  • ½ tsp. soy sauce
  • 1 pkg. won ton skins
  • Vegetable oil for deep-fat frying
Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except won ton skins and oil.
  2. Place 1 teaspoon filling in the center of each won ton skin.
  3. Moisten edges with water. Fold each skin in half to form a triangle; press edges to seal. Pull bottom corners of triangle down and overlap slightly.
  4. Moisten corner with water and press to seal.
  5. Heat oil to 375 degrees.
  6. Deep-fry several won tons at a time, turning once, until both sides are golden brown.

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp. dill weed
  • 1 tsp. parsley flakes
  • 1 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1 tsp. minced onion
  • dash garlic powder
Instructions
  1. Mix all ingredients together thoroughly.

Ingredients
  • 1½ c. cornmeal
  • ½ c. flour
  • 1 tbsp. baking powder
  • ¼ tbsp. baking soda
  • 1½ tbsp. dehydrated onion flakes
  • ¼ cc cultured buttermilk
  • 1 tbsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 pinch of finely chopped dill
  • water
Instructions
  1. Mix all ingredients together.
  2. Spoon into a 375 degree hot oil pot, until they float and are a golden brown.
  3. For a more crunchy effect cook until dark brown.

 

Corn Dip

  • 2 cans Mexi corn
  • 1 Can chopped green chilies
  • 1 can chopped jalapeños - Hot
  • 1 C. mayo
  • 1 C. sour cream
  • 1/s tsp. onion powder
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 bag shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
  1. Mix all ingredients together and store overnight in the refrigerator.
  2. Serve with tortilla chips.

  • 2 - 11oz. boxes Ritz Bits
  • 1 C. oil
  • 1 tbsp. dill weed
  • ½ tsp lemon pepper
  • 1 pkg. Hidden Valley Ranch dressing (Powder)
Instructions
  1. Stir all together and bake at 250 for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Stir frequesntly.

  • 2 lbs. ground sausage
  • 2 C. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1⅔ C. Bisquick
Instructions
  1. Mix together and shape into 1 inch balls.
  2. Bake 15 minutes at 350
  3. Makes 52 balls

 

Samosas

Ingredients
  • 1 c. peas
  • 1½ tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • ¼ c. chopped cilantro
  • 1 lb. potatoes
  • 3 chopped onions
  • ⅛ tsp. turmeric
  • 1½ tsp. garam masala
  • 4 chopped green chilies
  • 4 tbsp. oil
  • Egg roll wrappers
Instructions
  1. Peel and boil and mash potatoes.
  2. Heat 4 tablespoons of oil and saute onions.
  3. Add chili powder, turmeric and salt. Fry one minute.
  4. Add potatoes and remaining ingredients except peas.
  5. Cook 3 minutes. Add peas and simmer 5 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and chill.
  7. Separate egg roll wrappers. Cut into halves. Shape each half into a cone.
  8. Place the cold stuffing into the hollow cone.
  9. Wet your fingers and lightly wet the top edges then press them together so they do not split open during frying.
  10. Prepare all the samosas and then deep fry.

  • Mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp. paprika
  • ½ tsp. spicy Mrs. Dash
  • small can baby peas
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Saute mushrooms in a little olive oil. Add 2 tablespoons of paprika and ½ teaspoon of Spicy Mrs. Dash. Saute another 5 minutes and then add a small can of baby peas. Salt and pepper to taste.

  • 9oz. frozen topping
  • 8oz. Cream Cheese
  • C. Sugar
  • 3 Bananas, Sliced
  • 10 oz. Frozen Raspberries
  • 13 oz. (1 can) crushed pineapple, Drained
  • 1 C. Chopped Walnuts
Instructions
  1. Beat sugar into cream cheese and fold in frozen topping.
  2. Fold in fruit and nuts and pour into wax paper lined bread pans and freeze.
  3. To serve, remove from pan and slice.

  • 1 lb. Hamburger
  • 1 large green pepper
  • 1 large onion
  • Celery
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. Salt
  • 1 tsp. Chili powder
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • C. water
  • 2 Tbsp. Worchester Sauce
  • tsp. sage
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Mix all ingredients together and cook down until all meat and vegetables are well done.
  2. Spoon Mixture onto toasted hamburger buns and serve.

Ingredients
  • 4 whole onions
  • stick butter (melted)
  • 2 tbs. flour
  • 2 C. Milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Cook onions in salt water for 45 minutes.
  2. Remove onions and dice them. In a separate bowl, combine remaining ingredients adding the milk slowly.
  3. Pour over onions and heat to desired temperature and serve.

 

Fruit Dip

  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • C. Sugar
  • C. lemon juice
  • C. Pineapple Juice
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients and cook on medium heat until mixture has reached the consistency of pudding.
  2. Cool completely and fold in 1 pint of whipped cream.
  3. Chill and serve.

  • 1 lb. Ground Beef
  • C. green pepper, diced
  • C. Onion, diced
  • C. Celery, diced
  • 8 oz. can tomato sauce
  • C. Water
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • tsp. thyme
  • 1 Tbs. sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Cook all ingredients and simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. Pour 2 ½ cans of pork and beans into a casserole dish and top with meat.
  3. Bake at 375 for 45 minutes.
