Ingredients
- 1 C. flour
- ½ C. butter, softened
- ¼ C. confectioners sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 C. granulated sugar
- ½ tsp. baking powder
- ¼ tsp. salt
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350F.
- Mix together the butter, flour and confectioners sugar.
- Press mixture in an ungreased 8X8X2 pan building up a ½ inch edge.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
- Beat remaining ingredients until light and fluffy.
- Pour mixture over hot crust.
- Bake for an additional 25 minutes.
- Cool and cut into squares.
