Ingredients
- 2 lbs frozen hash browns
- 2 small cans cream of chicken soup
- 1 pint sour cream
- ¼ c chopped onion
- 2 T of butter melted
- 2 c grated cheddar cheese
- 1 c cornflakes cereal
- ¼ c butter
Instructions
- Mix cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and melted butter, in a large casserole dish until blended.
- Add onion, cheese, and hash-browns.
- Cover and place in oven @ 350 for 45 minutes.
- In a small bowl, place cornflakes and remaining butter and microwave for 1 minute or until butter is melted.
- Stir cereal until well coated with the butter.
- Remove the casserole from the oven and stir well.
- Sprinkle the cereal on top and return to the oven, uncovered, for an additional 15 minutes.
