Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1 lemon quartered
- 1 red onion cut in 1 inch chunks
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 c white wine
- 2 c water
- fresh dill
Instructions
- In a fry pan or roasting pan, on the stove top, add water, wine, bay leaves, onion and lemon.
- Bring to a boil, reduce to low boil.
- Add salmon and poach 8 to 12 minutes, depending on thickness.
- Serve with fresh dill or dill sauce.
