Ingredients
- 2 jalapeno chilies, finely chopped
- 16 oz. can creamed corn
- ½ tsp. baking soda
- ½ tsp. salt
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 2 eggs
- ¾ c. buttermilk
- ⅓ c. oil
- 1 c. grated cheese
- 2 c. yellow cornmeal
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Grease a 9 x 13 baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix jalapenos and creamed corn.
- Mix in the dry ingredients first and then add the wet ingredients until mixed together well.
- Pour the batter into the greased pan and bake for 35 minutes.
