Ingredients
- 1 sm box each corn, rice, and wheat chex cereal
- 3-4 c peanuts(or your favorite combination of nuts)
- 1 bag of pretzel sticks
- 1 lg box of cheese nibs
- 1 Ib butter
- ¾ c Worcestershire
- ¼ c season salt
Instructions
- In a large roasting pan(I use my turkey roaster)mix all boxes of cereal, nuts, pretzels, and cheese nibs. I
- n a medium size sauce pan, melt butter, then add Worcestershire and season salt.
- Slowly drizzle sauce over the cereal mix 1 large spoonful at a time, constantly stirring making sure every piece gets coated.
- Preheat oven to 250. Place pan in oven, uncovered, for 2½ hours.
- You must stir every 15 minutes so mixture begins to dry out.
- When the mixture cools down it should be crispy, otherwise return to the oven and cook longer.
- I keep this in my basement cold storage room during the holidays. You can save your cereal packages and store the cool, dry mixture back in the box. This is a party favorite!
