Ingredients
- 2 tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 tbsp. water
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 tbsp. oil
- pepper to taste
- 1 lb. flank steak
- 2 green peppers
- garlic salt to taste
- 1½ C. boiling water
- ¼ tsp. salt
- 1½ C. rice
Instructions
- Combine cornstarch, water, soy sauce, 1 tbsp. oil, pepper and beef.
- Cover and set aside.
- Sauté peppers in 1 tbsp. oil.
- Add meat mixture and cook fro 1 minute without stirring.
- Cook and stir until meat is medium rare and remove from skillet.
- Add water and salt to the skillet and bring to a boil.
- Stir until all brown particles are loosened.
- Stir in the rice and top with meat and pepper mixture.
- Cover and let sand fro 5 minutes.
- Stir.
