Ingredients
- 1 c flour
- 1 c cornmeal
- ¼ c sugar
- 1 T baking powder
- ¾ tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- ⅓ c oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400.
- Combine dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl. In a small bowl, combine egg, milk and oil and whip with a fork.
- Take milk mixture and start pouring over the dry mixture, use a fork to barely moisten the dry mixture.
- Pour into a well greased 8×8 pan.
- Bake for 25 minutes.
- Serve with honey butter.
