Ingredients
- 1 Ib ground beef
- 1 Ib grated cheddar cheese
- 1 c chopped onion
- ½ c chopped parsley
- ½ chopped red pepper(optional)
- 1 t salt
- ½ t pepper
- 1 T sage
- 3 eggs well beaten
- 1 loaf Rhodes Frozen bread (thawed)
Instructions
- In a large fry pan, fry ground beef, onion, salt, pepper, and sage.
- Cook until well done.
- Stir in parsley, egg, red pepper, and cheese and set aside.
- Divide thawed loaf into 10 balls of dough.
- Roll each ball out into a rectangle shape.
- Place a scoop of beef cheese filling onto each piece of dough.
- Roll dough around filling and pinch off at both ends creating an enclosed log.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake at 375 for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and brush with butter or whipped egg whites.
- You can substitute crescent rolls or your favorite tortilla.
