Ingredients
- 1 C. bread crumbs
- 1 C. milk
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 lb. ground pork
- 3 eggs
- ½ C. minced onion
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- ½ tsp. allspice
- 1 C. milk
- 2 tbsp. oil
- Flour
- 2 cans consommé
Instructions
- Soak bread crumbs in 1 cup of milk.
- Mix pork, beef, eggs, bread crumbs and spices.
- Beat at a low speed and gradually add second cup of milk.
- Beat until smooth.
- Chill Thoroughly.
- Make into balls and drop onto waxed papper.
- Brown in oil.
- Cover all with consommé, cover and simmer 20 minutes.
