Ingredients
- 1½ C. All purpose flour
- 1 C. sugar
- ½ tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 4 tbs. unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 C. cold water
- ⅓ C. vegetable oil
- 1 tbs. cider vinegar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Instructions
- Mix dry ingredients in one bowl and wet in another bowl and combine.
- Mix until completely mixed. Pour mixture in a 9x9 cake pan and bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cook on a wire rack completely before frosting.
This cake is so moist and delicious I don’t even use frosting. You have to give it a try!
