Recipe Type: Candy
- ½ Ib butter
- 2 c light corn syrup
- 2 c sugar
- 2 cans sweetened condensed milk
- ½ c sifted flour
- 1 t vanilla
- In a medium size pan, melt butter.
- Add corn syrup and sugar.
- Bring to a boil, and boil for 6 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Add 1½ cans of sweetened condensed milk. In a separate bowl, pour remaining sweetened condensed milk and add flour mixing well.
- Then slowly add to the heated mixture.
- Bring to a boil.
- Cook until 240 degrees or until it forms a medium hard ball, stirring constantly.
- Pour into a well buttered 9×13 pan.
- Let cool.
- Cut into desired size.
- I like 1 inch pieces. Wrap in plastic wrap or wax paper.
- Makes 5 dozen.
