Caramelized Onions

- 2 lg. onions (1 lb.)
- 2 tbsp. salad oil
- 2 tbsp. red wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp. brown sugar
- Cut onion into thick slices.
- In 10-inch skillet over medium heat, in hot oil, cook onion until tender.
- Stir in vinegar and brown sugar and cook until golden.
