Applesauce Raisin Cookies

Ingredients
- 2 C. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3½ C. sifted flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. cloves, ground
- 1 tsp. nutmeg, ground
- 1 C. raisins
- 2 C. quick oats
- 2 C. applesauce
Instructions
- Cream shortening and sugar.
- Stir in the egg and sift in dry ingredients.
- Add raisins and oats.
- Add applesauce.
- Mix well and drop by tsp. onto a greased cokie sheet.
- Bake at 375 for 13-15 minutes.
- Makes 4½ doz.
