Ingredients
  • 2½ C. flour, whole wheat
  • ½ C. dry milk
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • ½ C. cold water
  • 3 Tbsp. bullion (Chicken or beef)
Instructions
  1. Preheat the over to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix all ingredients together.
  3. Knead dough for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Roll out to ½ inch thick
  5. Cut into desired shapes. You can use a cookie cutter.
  6. Bake on a greased cookie sheet for 30 minutes.

 

Fruit Pizza

Ingredients
  • 1 pkg refrigerated sugar cookie mix, sliced.
  • 1 8 oz pkg cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • If the mixture is too thick, take the juice from a can of pineapple to thin.
  • 4 cups assorted cut-up fruit(kiwi, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, sliced peaches, drained can of mandarin oranges, or canned pineapple)or any of your favorites.
  • 1 pkg Danish Dessert; any flavor (prepared and cool, don't allow to set)
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Line a 12-inch pizza pan with foil; spray with cooking spray.
  3. Arrange cookie dough slices in single layer on prepared pan; press together to form crust.
  4. Bake 11-15 minutes until done, then cool completely. Invert onto a 12” serving platter and carefully remove foil. Turn crust over.
  5. Beat cream cheese, sugar and fruit juice with mixer until well blended. Spread over crust.
  6. Top with your favorite fruits, and take your Danish Dessert and pour over the pizza like a glaze. Refrigerate 2 hours.

 

Fruit Dip

Ingredients
  • 1 jar creamed marshmallow
  • 1 small container of strawberry cream cheese
Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, empty the strawberry cream cheese and beat with a mixer.
  2. Then add the jar of marshmallow.
  3. Let chill 1 hour before serving.
  4. Serve with your favorite fruit.

 

Chocolate Pretzel Rings

Ingredients
  • 1 bag small pretzel rings
  • 1 bag Rolo or Reece's Peanut Butter Cups
  • M & M's to garnish, or a nut(just whatever)
  • paper cupcake liners
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 250.
  2. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Place pretzels on a the cookie sheet 1½ inches apart.
  4. Place pan in oven and heat for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven and place a piece of candy in the center of each pretzel.
  6. Return to oven and bake 3-4 minutes, or until candy is soft, not melted.
  7. Remove from oven and garnish with whatever the occasion maybe.
  8. Cool.
  9. These can also be placed in a cupcake liner.

Ingredients
  • 1 sm box krispex cereal
  • 1 sm box golden grahams cereal
  • 1 c shredded coconut
  • 1-2 c peanuts or cashews
  • 1 c corn syrup
  • 1 c sugar
  • ¾ c butter
Instructions
  1. Bring the corn syrup, sugar and butter to a boil for 2-3 minutes.(boil to a softball)
  2. Place cereal mix and coconut in a large mixing bowl and pour corn mixture over.
  3. Stir until totally coated.
  4. Spread on a cookie sheet and let cool.

 

Carmel Puff Corn

Ingredients
  • 1 8 oz bag puff corn
  • 1 c butter(do not substitute)
  • 1 c brown sugar
  • ½ c light corn syrup
  • 1 t baking soda
Instructions
  1. Place puff corn in a large roaster pan.
  2. In a medium sauce pan bring the butter, sugar & corn syrup a boil, then cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the baking soda; this will cause the caramel mixture to foam up.
  4. Stir well and remove from heat.
  5. Pour over puff corn in roasting pan and bake at 250 oven for 45 minutes, stirring every 10-15 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven, spread out onto wax paper to cool.

Ingredients
  • ½ c butter
  • 1 c Karo(light)
  • 2¼ c brown sugar
  • 1 can Eagle Sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 t vanilla
Instructions
  1. Bring butter, Karo and brown sugar to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat.
  3. Add sweetened condensed milk and vanilla.
  4. Cook to a softball stage, stirring constantly.
  5. Covers about 5 average size batches of popcorn.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups trail mix
  • ⅓ cup milk chocolate chips
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp. honey
Instructions
  1. In a Large bowl combine all o the dry ingredients.
  2. In a separate bowl mash the bananas and add the egg and honey.
  3. Combine both mixtures together and mix until everything is evenly coated.
  4. Press into a greased 12 X 9-inch cake pan.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until it begins to brown.
  6. Cool completely before cutting into bars.

Ingredients
  • 2 bananas
  • 2 plumbs
  • 2 peaches
  • 1 can pineapple chunks, drained
  • 4 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 4 tbsp. butter
  • 4 tsp. lemon juice
Instructions
  1. Cut all fruit into small pieces.
  2. On four large pieces of tin foil, divide the fruit evenly.
  3. Divide the sugar, butter and lemon juice in each knapsack.
  4. Fold up the edges of the foil and wrap around a stick or skewer.
  5. Hold knapsack over medium coals of a grill or campfire for 8-10 minutes.

  • 3 squares semi-sweet chocolate
  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 (10 oz.) bag miniature marshmallows
  • 1 pkg. coconut flakes
Instructions
  1. Melt together chocolate and butter.
  2. Stir in powdered sugar.
  3. Beat egg and add.
  4. Stir well.
  5. Mix in marshmallows.
  6. Butter clean hands.
  7. Roll mixture into two equal sized logs on wax paper.
  8. Roll in flaked coconut until well coated.
  9. Seal rolls in wax paper and refrigerate overnight.
  10. The next day, slice rolls into ½ inch slices as needed.

Ingredients
  • 2 cubes butter
  • 2 C. mini marshmallows
  • ½ C. sugar
  • ¼ C. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • ½ C. nuts
  • 1½ C. coconut flakes
  • 3½ C. Special K cereal
Instructions
  1. In a large pot, combine the butter, marshmallows, sugar and brown sugar.
  2. Heat to a boil while stirring constantly.
  3. Allow to boil for three minutes and remove from heat.
  4. Mix in remaining ingredients.
  5. Pour into a buttered casserole dish.

Ingredients
  • 60 caramel candies
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 bag large marshmallows
  • Rice Krispies
Instructions
  1. Melt the caramels, margarine and milk together.
  2. Place a toothpick in the center of a large marshmallow and dip in the caramel.
  3. Roll in rice krispies.
  4. Continue until entire bag of marshmallows is used.

  • 1 small box black cherry jello
  • 1 C. cold water
  • ½ C. apples, diced
  • ½ C. celery, chopped
  • 1 C. boiling water
  • dash of salt
  • ½ C. banana, diced
  • ⅛ C. nuts
Instructions
  1. Disolve jello and salt in the boiling water and add the cold water.
  2. Chill until partially thick and fold in remaining ingredients.
  3. chill until firm

 

Macaroni and Cheese

Ingredients
  • 1½ C. elbow macaroni
  • ½ C. margarine
  • ½ C. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • ⅛ tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 2½ C. milk
  • ½ C. pimento
  • ½ C. green pepper
  • 2 C. grated American cheese
  • 2 tbsp. bread crumbs tossed with 1 tbsp. melted margarine.
Instructions
  1. Cook macaroni and drain.
  2. Melt margarine in a sauce pan and remove from heat.
  3. Stir in flour, salt, pepper and mustard until smooth.
  4. Slowly stir in milk and bring to a boil.
  5. Add in the pimento and green pepper and reduce heat to a simmer.
  6. Stir in the macaroni and 1½ C. of the grated cheese.
  7. Pour into a 2 qt. casserole dish and top with bread crumbs and remaining cheese.
  8. Bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes or until cheese is melted and bread crumbs are brown.
